After a successful week of recording sessions in Sydney, Australia, 2025, Pianist Kristina Moditch is returning in 2026.

Moditch and McEncroe first met in person in 2025, after two years of planning, for a concert performance of Natalie’s Suite in Budapest .

That led to a recording session of Mark’s solos piano works at Trackdown Studios in Sydney in December of that same year.

Now in 2026 their collaboration continues to thrive.

In October, Julie Simonds has invited Moditch to perform a one hour recital to be recorded and broadcast on 2MBS Fine Music Sydney.

During that same visit she and Mark will film and record more of his compositions, and some brand new pieces, at Trackdown. Look out for these new releases through Modern Classical X in Australia.

Also in 2026 Kristina will be recording nine of Mark’s piano quartet pieces in Zagreb. The quartet will comprise the daughter of long time collaborator Mark Saliba on violin along with Viola and Cellist from the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.

While in Budapest last year, Kristina and Mark discussed the idea of him composing a work for piano full orchestra. With the first movement complete and the others well on the way, there’s much to look forward to from this partnership.

Recordings of Mark’s works featuring Kristina Moditch are available through MCX on all your favourite platforms and streamers.
