Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra to premier Symphonic Poem
Updated: Jul 4, 2019
It was recently announced that The Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra will be premiering Mark John McEncroe's Symphonic Poem “The Passing” on January 21st & 22nd, 2016. The two concerts, to be held in Ostrava at the city’s main concert hall, will be conducted by Anthony Armore, Managing Director of Blue Danube Musikimpresario/Vienna.
In 2013 the composer travelled to the Czech Republic to first record “The Passing” and “A Symphonic Poem in D minor”, with Anthony Armore and the Janáček Philharmonic, for a forthcoming orchestral music CD. So it is with great pleasure that Mark will now see the conductor and orchestra presenting his work live.
These orchestral music pieces and the scores are available for purchase at Wirripang Publishing in Australia.
