The biggest regret I have is the fact I lack the time & energy to achieve proficiency in all aspects of my musical endeavours. I’m faced with the fact that if I spent more time on piano & clarinet practice I might become a modestly reasonable musician. In short composition has become an extremely demanding mistress. That’s it really & I’m learning to live with that.

How Koi Gardens inspire me as a Composer
There are in most people, I think, many sides to their passions. I have always been a hands on person, for example, being a chef. I need that physical tactile element to all the things that I do. I was drawn to landscape garden design for the same reason. In particular Koi gardens, fish ponds and Japanese Gardens. My Journey to Easy Listening Music
Classical music I didn’t come from a musical family background, although growing up my parents certainly played a lot of different music. Mantovani, Percy Faith, Henry Mancini, Enrico Morricone, & Peter Nero to name a few; and singers like Eartha Kitt, Perry Como, & Frank Sinatra.
